Alexander Pujol is a board certified, registered radiological technologist and a board certified physician assistant with additional board certification as a surgical physician assistant. In 2000, he earned his Bachelor of Science / physician assistant from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since his graduation he has been a physician assistant in pain management. Before joining Coastal Spine and Pain Center, Alex worked at the Institute of Pain Management where under the direct supervision of Orlando F. Florete, MD, he learned various interventional techniques. During his time in pain management, he was also excelled in performing various joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point therapy, intrathecal drug delivery system management and spinal cord stimulation management for chronic pain. Alex has also performed botulinum neurotoxin injections for spasticity, chronic migraine management as well as cervical dystonia. Alex comes to us from North Florida Pain Center.
